What You Will Hate About George Bush Airport in Houston

Most art at Bush airport seems to perpetuate the idea that Texans are all cowboys without many brains. The exception is the Light Spikes that celebrate world unity. These eight tilted, rectangular columns are located near the Airport Tower. The spikes represent France, West Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and the European Union. Each spike is located in a circle with each spike arranged based on its geographical distance from Houston.
